Parks don’t need to be ‘hired’ for small, casual, informal gatherings, but if you’d like to ‘hire’ a park for a publicly advertised event, please fill out an application with Cessnock City Council. Events requiring additional resources like additional cleaning stocking amenities opening amenities early or closing them late, opening vehicle access gates, additional mowing will require an application.

If you’d like to host a public event involving bringing in vendors or entertainers, please liaise with Cessnock Council to ensure we can arrange your needs.
