Considerations when searching for your perfect event venue

Weather Considerations

If the weather turns, where can people shelter? Is there access to shade in the heat of the day and undercover facilities for inclement weather?

Toilets Facilities

We recommend no less than one toilet per every 30 people. For more information, head to the health department’s event advice guidelines here. Portable toilets are an option, with some well designed, luxury toilet trailers are also available these days, making things easier! Porta-loos are no longer your only option.


Parking for larger events

Is there room for parking for all your guests or can you or make other arrangements?

Transport to and from the venue

If you’re expecting your guests to be drinking, is there public transport available? Can you organise transfers? Is it in walking distance to accommodation or other transport options?

Onsite accommodation
